Background
Paul Otter the owner of Otter Interiors and partner of Otter Antiques has a background of 20 years in the building and furniture industries. He completed a full apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery and went on to obtain professional qualifications with both The City and Guilds Institute and The Chartered Institute of Builders.
Working for private domestic customers in period properties and on such diverse commercial projects as The French Ambassadors residence in Kensington Palace Gardens, The Browns Restaurant chain and the North Terminal of Gatwick Airport his knowledge of building techniques is wide and varied.
Paul was in the antiques business for ten years first with retail space in the centre of Oxford and then with a shop in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. He can still offer an antiques search service and his knowledge of antique furniture is evident in his designs for the period property.
Now working in and around South Oxfordshire from a country workshop.
Otter Interiors are members of the Federation of Small Business and The Guild of Master Craftsmen.
